Cargo deliveries

The Cargo rate is for transporting items that do not fit in a normal car, such as auto parts, furniture, or building materials. These are usually deliveries from stores or warehouses.

Yandex Go users may also order Cargo delivery when moving to a new apartment, or to transport building materials, appliances, or large personal belongings.

In this section, we’ll discuss what kinds of vehicles can accept these deliveries, how orders work, and prohibited items.

Cargo trucks

The Cargo rate offers users three different sizes of delivery trucks:

Small cargo truck

  • Length — from 170 cm, width — from 100 cm, height — from 90 cm

  • Carrying capacity — 300 kg

  • Acceptable vehicles: Citroen Berlingo, Lada Largus, Renault Dokker, Renault Kangoo Express, Volkswagen Caddy, Daewoo Damas, Daewoo Labo, and similar vehicles

Medium cargo truck

  • Length — from 260 cm, width — from 130 cm, height — from 150 cm

  • Carrying capacity — 700 kg

  • Acceptable vehicles: Citroen Jumper, Ford Transit, Hyundai H100, Hyundai Porter, Peugeot Boxer, Volkswagen Crafter, Changan SC, and similar vehicles

Large cargo truck

  • Length — from 380 cm, width — from 180 cm, height — from 180 cm

  • Carrying capacity — 1400 kg

  • Acceptable vehicles: GAZ 3302, Gazelle NEXT, Fiat Ducato, Hyundai H35, Iveco Daily, Mercedes Sprinter, and similar vehicles

Rules of behavior

  • Do not be rude to Yandex Delivery employees or users.

  • Do not start conflicts.

  • Do not ask a sender to cancel an order or make a delivery outside of Yandex Pro.

  • Do not ask a user to give you a 5-point rating for a delivery.

  • Do not ask a recipient for more money than the amount specified in the Yandex Pro app.

  • Do not open or damage packages. If a package is already damaged when you come to collect it, take a picture of both the damaged package and the sender.

  • Do not assign orders to yourself.

  • Do not complete orders under someone else’s profile or transfer your account to another driver.

  • Do not use the sender or recipient’s data for personal purposes. Do not call or message users once the order has been completed.

  • Do not go online while intoxicated.

  • Do not act dishonestly toward the Yandex Delivery service.

  • Do not set the order status to “Arrived” until you have reached the specified address. Do not accept orders if your vehicle is dirty. You must clean it thoroughly before fulfilling orders.

  • Do not refuse the user a ride if they ask to accompany the cargo.

Prohibited items

  • Household and construction waste

  • Items that do not fit completely inside the vehicle

  • Items that require special conditions for transportation, such as safes, exercise equipment, pianos, antiques, or aquariums

  • Restricted items, such as money, jewelry, weapons, drugs, or animals

  • People (in the truck bed)

  • Items prohibited for delivery in the Republic of Armenia.

If you are asked to transport something from the list above, refuse the order and contact Support.

Where can I learn more about fulfilling these types of orders?
I have an order that is supposed to be paid in cash, but the user isn’t answering my calls and still hasn’t shown up after 10 minutes. What should I do?
I can’t reach the specified address. What should I do?
What if an item gets damaged during transportation?
